Discount on Data & Insurance Series Courses
CAS Student Central members are eligible to receive a 50% discount on all three CAS Data & Insurance Series Courses. These online courses are self-paced and will provide the knowledge needed to stand out to employers when searching for internships and/or full-time employment.
Webinars
We hold free webinars every semester on topics ranging from career guidance, to software training, to emerging property and casualty issues presented by industry professionals.
Access to Industry Events
We hold free, one-day student programs at CAS conferences where you can network with practicing actuaries. Students will receive invitations to industry events offered by employers and affinity groups.
CAS Student Central Summer Program
The CAS Student Central Summer Program is a free online program, designed by practicing actuaries that supports university students’ career growth by providing technical and soft skill development, as well as mentorships and networking opportunities. Applications for the program open each spring.
Exam Study Resources
The CAS partners with vendors to provide exam study resources to students. The Infinite Actuary offers free practice exams and ACTEX Learning offers free formula cards, both for P and FM. Resources will continue to be added to help students along the CAS pathway.
Actuarial Internship Listing
The CAS Student Central Career Resources Center provides students with a single location to learn more about companies that hire actuarial interns and entry-level candidates, and easily access their individual webpages. Also check out the CAS Career Center to find specific internships posted throughout the year.
Scholarship Opportunities
CAS Student Central members are eligible to apply for the Trust Scholarship and will be made aware of additional scholarship opportunities throughout the year.
